Ore veins are massive deposits of the different minerals you can dig up in Minecraft. Each type of ore, just as in previous versions, has an ideal elevation for mining. Strategic mining? Skeptical developers? Keeping your house truly safe from creepers? Veins will appear primarily for copper and iron, and more than 2, of a given ore type can be found in larger veins. This update includes six new "overworld" tracks by Celeste composer Lena Raine and three by Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles composer Kumi Tanioka, with new tracks being associated with the new biomes.
There's also a new music disc called Otherside, which can be found in strongholds and dungeons. Hostile Mobs will now only spawn in complete darkness, instead of just in low light. That means that any light level will keep mobs away.
So now, you can light your base more for atmosphere and aesthetics instead of just spamming it with torches and lanterns to stave off those nasty creepers. Keep in mind that mobs can wander into lit places outdoors or underground--they just can't spawn there. This should make base-building more reliable and even more artistic. Jagged Peaks biomes can be located in the Overworld, featuring incredibly lofty mountains covered in snow and made mostly of stone blocks. Meadow biomes are generally flat, populated typically with Spruce or Birch trees, and flowers like Blue Hydrangea, Dandelions, Sunflowers, or Flax.
You can tell Lush Caves apart from Dripstone Caves easily. Lush Cave biomes are only found beneath Azalea trees, covered in cave veins and glow berries , whereas Dripstone Caves are filled with stalagmites and dripstone blocks. A perfect example of this new feature is Lush Cave biomes, which generate under Azalea trees that appear on the surface. Say goodbye to boring old caves. New "noise caves" have been added to Minecraft with the arrival of update 1.
We now have " Cheese Caves, " which generate as very large and open spaces. Caves that appear wide but burrowed forward through the underground are known as " Spaghetti Caves.
To increase the diversity of Minecraft's new cave system even further, you can now find "aquifers" in some of the game's caves. Underground streams, flooded caves filled with glow squid, and underground lakes are all-new bodies of water that can generate in your world's cave biomes.
Imagine giant sinkholes filled with entire villages, or caverns with subterranean lakes as big as small cities.
